Due to the success of our teams and further UK expansion, we are recruiting for an Internal Veterinary Recruiter to join our Careers Team and work closely alongside our management team.
This is a remote working position with occasional travel to practice sites. You will be recruiting for a variety of skillsets ranging from Customer Service to senior level Veterinary Clinicians throughout all of our practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and proactive Recruitment Consultant looking to move from agency to internal recruitment or an Internal Recruiter looking for a well paid and passionate challenge within a dynamic, growing, and thriving veterinary group.
Your duties will include:
- Gaining an understanding of our industry and mapping potential candidates against current vacancies depending on region and role.
- Utilising our CRM to maintain and process candidates applying for the positions.
- Undertaking responsibility for the delivery of ‘live’ vacancies and working directly with hiring Regional and Hospital managers. This includes providing feedback and updates as appropriate.
- Networking and direct sourcing through LinkedIn.
- Building relationships with the management team to understanding their specific requirements and developing relevant talent pools
- Building relationships with candidates and managing them through the recruitment process.
- Making first touch contact with candidates and preparing them for 2nd stage interviews with the Management Team.
- Managing your time and priorities with the Senior Management Team.
- Identifying new ways to access and attract new candidates.
- Attend recruitment meetings as required to provide updates, discuss upcoming programmes of work etc.
- Assist in interview processes as required.
- Liaising with the HR Team to ensure all onboarding is complete
Role Requirements
To be considered for this opportunity you will have a strong background and understanding of the recruitment lifecycle. Specifically you will have:
- Experience of candidate attraction – of both passive and active candidates. This includes reviewing and identifying new ways of candidate attraction.
- Experience of managing the recruitment lifecycle from candidate attraction through to interview, offer and moving into the onboarding stages.
- A proactive approach to the recruitment process both for current recruitment requirements and planned resource requirements.
- Strong computer literacy – including skills with Teams and recruitment software is desirable.
- Experience/knowledge of recruiting within the skilled healthcare/veterinary sector is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent communication skills are essential.

- Salary: Up to £35,000, Depending on Experience
