About The Role

Are you an experienced, results-driven Head RVN, Practice Manager, or Veterinary Manager with a passion for providing exceptional care for both pets and teams? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you in an exciting, busy hospital environment at our Arthur Lodge Vets!

Our veterinary team across DNA is comprised of certificate holders across multiple disciplines, supported by a dedicated group of RVNs and experienced service teams, all working towards our goal of delivering outstanding patient care to every pet, every day. We are ideally looking for an RVN wanting to progress into their next role!

About the Role:
This is a pivotal leadership role where you will work closely with the Hospital Manager and the wider management team to support the seamless running of a 24-hour hospital. You will play an instrumental part in ensuring the efficiency of both day and night teams, while maintaining the high standards of care.

You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact, not only in day-to-day operations but also in shaping the future growth of the practice. We are looking for someone who is proactive, open to new ideas, and keen to introduce effective solutions to enhance the performance of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rota Management: Efficiently coordinate rotas for both day and night teams to ensure full coverage and optimal performance.
  • Clinical Meetings: Organise and facilitate clinical meetings to promote continuous improvement and communication within the team.
  • Complaint Resolution: Address and resolve both clinical and service-related complaints with professionalism and empathy.
  • Performance Monitoring: Maintain an overview of both clinical and service areas to ensure high performance standards across the hospital.
  • Team Delegation: Effectively delegate tasks and areas of accountability within the team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a large veterinary hospital or practice, or as a Head RVN in a sizeable setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire veterinary teams, from vets to receptionists.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, with a commitment to delivering the highest level of care.
  • A passion for continuous improvement and a drive to support the development of the team and the hospital.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity to be part of something truly special in the veterinary sector. If you are a dynamic and ambitious leader with a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.
