Canterbury vets are seeking an enthusiastic veterinary nurse to join our team on a part time basis. Working 20hrs a week across two days (Mondays & Fridays) you will be helping support both the first opinion practice and our ophthalmology referral service.
This is a great opportunity to join our friendly and supportive team, whilst expanding your skills working with some incredibly experienced vets. Our practice is busy and encourages our nurses to utilise their skills so you can take bloods, x-rays and even do some schedule three! Plenty of hands on nursing here!
We are part of an independent group of surgeries in Kent, Surrey and London. As a Registered Veterinary nurse you will be a vital part of our team and have the opportunity to do a variety of tasks, from anaesthetic monitoring to medical nursing, to nurse clinics. No two days are the same!
We also have some 24 Hours hospital sites nearby and are happy to support you in gaining new skills and becoming the nurse you want to be.
About the role:
- 20hrs week - Mondays & Fridays 8-6.30pm
- Supporting our first opinion and ophthalmology services
- Salary up to £31000 pro rata DOE
- Share of weekend rota (Saturday mornings only)
